At Kato Group, we believe that a prosperous society begins with “dreams.” We value not only realizing our own dreams but also supporting the dreams of everyone connected with us.
Even dreams that have yet to take shape can inspire change. Pursued with positivity and persistence, they influence individuals, spread to communities, and move society closer to new ideals.
We will continue to walk forward with people, nurturing dreams that create lasting value for society. If you share this vision, we invite you to join us and grow together as part of our team.

About Us
Our Five Core Pillars

Kato Group traces its origins back to 1960, with the establishment of Shinseisha Co., Ltd., a company specializing in funeral services. Four years later, in 1964, Kato Hitoshi General Office Co., Ltd. was founded, laying the foundation for future growth.
Over the following decades, we expanded into diverse fields including building maintenance, ISO certification consulting, environmental services, insurance (life and casualty), travel services, and import/export distribution.
In 1972, we entered the real estate sector with the establishment of Sogo Real Estate Co., Ltd. In 1988, we launched Sakai Journal Co., Ltd., marking our entry into publishing and advertising with the regional newspaper Sakai Journal. That same year, we also established Kato Transport Co., Ltd., expanding into general freight transportation.
Today, with these five core business pillars—funeral services, building maintenance, real estate, publishing & advertising, and transportation—Kato Group continues to grow as a diversified organization contributing to society in multiple ways.

Expanding Our Business, Expanding Connections

The reason Kato Group has developed such a wide range of businesses is our commitment to meeting the needs of customers and society. As times change, those needs diversify year by year. To remain a company that can respond to evolving demands, we believe it is essential to both deepen our expertise in each field and broaden the scope of services we provide—a strategy of expanding “in depth and in breadth.
By growing our business portfolio, we also expand our network of people and strengthen our ability to contribute to society. To keep this positive cycle moving forward, we will continue to approach every business with sincerity and dedication.
Building Progress Through Small but Steady Steps
The society we live in today has been shaped by people who turned their dreams and ideals into reality. Questions such as How can life be more comfortable? More convenient? What does society need now? have inspired visions for improvement. Others joined these visions, and through trial and error, our present society was built.
These dreams and ideals may not always lead to great discoveries recorded in history, yet each represents a vital step that enriches people’s lives.
Looking ahead, people will continue to dream and move toward making those dreams real. Supporting this progress is our mission.
For example, even launching a small new business contributes to the advancement of our clients and society. By steadily accumulating such steps, society evolves and new value is created. We aspire to remain a company that sustains this cycle of progress.
Systems, Environment & Culture
Comprehensive Training Program – No Experience Required

New employees start by learning workplace rules, cleaning methods, and how to use tools at each site. For experienced staff, this takes about 2–3 days, while those with no prior experience usually master the basics within one to two weeks. Operation manuals are also provided, so anyone can succeed regardless of background.
Each site has a supervisor dedicated to training and support. If you have questions or encounter difficulties, help is always available. Training is tailored to individual abilities, giving you the confidence to apply even if you are new to the field.

Competitive Benefits for Stable Employment

At Kato Group, we believe in showing our appreciation to staff in meaningful ways. That is why we offer a variety of benefits designed to support long-term, stable employment.
Employees receive seasonal bonuses twice a year (summer and winter), with additional year-end bonuses in recent years thanks to strong business performance. Many part-time staff have also transitioned to full-time positions, creating opportunities for those who wish to build a stable career.
In the past, we held company-sponsored New Year and year-end gatherings at each site. While large events have been limited due to COVID-19, we continue to give back by providing small gifts—such as bath additives or instant miso soup sets—to each staff member. In these and other ways, we strive to create a workplace where employees can feel secure and supported over the long term.
Meet Our Team Members

Our team is made up of people from diverse backgrounds, ages, and levels of experience. What unites them is a steady and dedicated approach to their work.
At Kato Group, we value positive communication and a culture of warm greetings. Many of our staff work with a cheerful attitude. Because many of our cleaning sites are hospitals, we sometimes meet patients or visitors who may feel uneasy. In such cases, we encourage staff to keep interactions polite and brief—offering a kind greeting, completing tasks efficiently, and moving forward with care and respect.
The skills and mindset required for hospital cleaning are provided through training, so no prior experience is necessary. If you enjoy steady, focused work and want to be part of a supportive team, you’ll feel right at home here.

Is This the Right Job for You?

Whether you prefer just a few hours in the morning, want to build a full-time schedule, use your prior experience, or try something completely new, we encourage you to share your preferred working style during the interview.
We also welcome applicants with certifications such as Hospital Cleaning Supervisor or Building Cleaning Technician. For those who wish to grow, we provide support for obtaining qualifications—an ideal environment to enhance your skills while working.
Our team members have joined for many different reasons: some sought stable full-time work, others preferred morning shifts, and some wanted to give back to hospitals that once cared for them. Whatever your motivation, there is a place for you at Kato Group.
